When a litter is planned or the pregnancy confirmed the details of the litter’s parents are advertised on the ‘Available kittens’ page. At this time it is possible to join a waiting list for the kittens – no cost involved.

The DK Lendal Cattery is very small and only one litter every second year is expected. There is therefore no guarantee that being on the waiting list will get you a kitten in the next litter, as it is not possible to predict the size of the litters.

Waiting list
If you would like to join our kitten waiting list, please email us and tell us:
- How many kittens you want to adopt
- If you have any color/pattern/sex requirements
- If you will want to take your kitten to cat shows
- If you will want to use the kitten for breeding
- If you or your closest family have cat allergies
- A little bit about yourself (where you live and what environment you can provide for the kitten)

Reserving a Kitten
A few weeks after the litter arrives DK Lendal Cattery will get in touch with the persons on the waiting list by email and a potential kitten of interest will be disgust. This is to make sure the right kitten goes to the right home.

When the kitten is 8 weeks old and if you still want the kitten then you will be asked to pay a non-refundable deposit. This will reserve the kitten of your choice.

Purchase and payment of a Kitten
The kitten will be ready for collection or shipment at the age of 13-14 weeks. For a kitten sold for breeding/show full payment will be made at the DK Lendal Cattery when the kitten is collected if you pay in cash. If you prefer to pay by Paypal or bank transfer, the payment must be cleared a week prior to collection. For a kitten sold as a pet cat full payment will be made before spayed/neutered of the kitten, when it is 12 weeks old. The cost for shipment of a kitten is not included in the price and will depend on where the kitten is to transferred to.
